About Youth Diversion
Broward County, FL — Change of Heart Youth Program of America (COHYPOA), in partnership with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice’s Broward County Probation & Community Intervention Program (17th Circuit), announced a diversion initiative that provides court-ordered youth with structured community service opportunities across local beaches, parks, and senior community centers.
Students who need documented hours for school may request a placement too. Always confirm with the probation officer, case manager, or school that COHYPOA hours will count for that specific order or requirement. We do not replace your case manager — we host the shift and write the hours down.

01
Tell us the youth’s name, school, hours needed, and who referred you — court, school, or family.
02
We match a supervised shift at a beach, park, or senior community center. Guardians get the time and place in writing.
03
Attendance is verified. We provide written confirmation for the case manager, school, or court.
Include the youth’s school and grade, hours needed, and who referred you. For a same-day reply, call 754.207.3334.
We host the shift and document the hours. Bring whatever your case manager requires on the day — we do not issue court orders.
